How To Write A Trollpasta (With Notcreepypasta And DoubleCherryTween.Exe)
Here are our personal guidelines for writing the perfect trollpasta.
Step 1: Obtain the stuff that the trollpasta will be made of.
=Correct Way=
Even the most wacky stories need some kind of features. Here are some of the more effective ones:
#Something going around killing stuff.
#A bunch of creepy coincidences that only cause mental damage.
#You play a hacked game, and suddenly your life goes completely wack.
#Undead creatures everywhere.
And then there are the things that will assist those parts:
#Look up rule 32 of the internet and follow it.
#Be a really good artist.
#In the world of clichés, there's this theoretical line between "sends chills down spines and is slowly going out of the category of clichés" and "are you bleeping kidding me LOLOLOLOL facepalms". Try to use the clichés that hang out on that line. Maximum reader confusion.
=Incorrect Way=
People usually think that trollpastas can't have mistakes. Here's why we say otherwise:
#Don't corrupt words to the point of people not being able to read them. Again, keep it on that theoretical line between "excellent" and "horrible".
#*Speaking of illegible text, don't use very large amounts of Zalgo. T̵͙͇͇̞͎͒͊̂̇̕h̴̤̬̣̙̒̔̂̏͆͜į̸̛̛͚̺̯̺̑̆͗s̸̖͉̝̰̣̊̾͊͘͠ ̸̛̫͓̳̖̑̈́̌̽͜i̶̛̫̙̜͇͐̑̉̽͜s̷̝̯̭̗͈͒̈̀͘͠ ̶̝̬̻͓̳̓͑̿́͆p̴̛̫̘̰̲̜̈͒́͆l̶̯̼̤̱̯̊̓͆͗̌e̶̛̝̱̺̗̞̎͋̑͠ṇ̷̛̭̼̺͓̃̿̿̋t̶̨͉͈̰͕̄̒̑͝͝y̸̮͙̙̲̋̾͌̎́ͅ.̸͖̪͈̬̹̈̉̊̒̈́ Any more will completely cover up text on other lines! Unless you're going only-Zalgo, keep it at this level.
#If you're using MS Paint or Paintbrush, then don't aimlessly put a bunch of red everywhere and put it under .
#More ghetto talk articles aren't allowed anymore, so unless you're only using a bit, try to stay away from contributing to .
*You know what? Don't put midly-altered versions of an actual creepypasta up in the first place. Even adding your own images in won't help (as I saw with my epic-fail-pasta Uoy GNiHCTaW Si LLoD SLiaT eHT).
#I swear, if I see one more quick reference to EVIL PATRIXXX...
Step 2: Put it together to make a story.
Step 3: Include varying amounts of emphasis.
